the staff was friendly at check-in and check-out i found that acceptable
my room had a strong musty smell i also noticed black mold on the window this was a significant problem since the air quality was poor i found this unacceptable as a demanding guest i expect better maintenance

i appreciated the traditional atmosphere it felt authentic and calming the staff were helpful especially with directions. the futon was comfortable providing a restful sleep the hotel's proximity to shibuya allowed for easy access to the city. the cleanliness of both the room and shared facilities was very excellent

i appreciated the cleanliness. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service, i found the location convenient with easy access to shibuya station and the scramble crossing, it was situated in a quieter neighborhood which suited me well.
The walls seemed thin. I could hear other guests. this made it a little difficult to relax completely at times, although it was generally a quiet hotel, noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable.
